Colin Challenger - Barrister at Law
Colin studied pure and applied mathematics, physics and chemistry at school and law at London University. From there he went to the United States and was employed for a while in the travel business before reading for an MBA at the University of California, Berkeley. Thence Colin travelled extensively in India, Pakistan and Afghanistan before returning to England as a barrister. He was a founder member and later head of a revolutionary set of barristers chambers with 45 tenants at Bridewell Chambers in London before moving recently to Lamb Chambers where he practises now in commercial, property, media and general law. He has had a number of headline clients from Koo Stark and Caprice Bourret to the Dalai Lama and the Metropolitan Police Commissioner. Colin claims close theatrical connections with uncles who were artists, theatre set designers, artistic directors in the film industry and choreographers and aunts who variously produced, appeared in and directed UK pantomime and summer shows and went on to run a well known theatrical agency in London. Colin himself played the title role in a nativity play at primary school. As a result of this impeccable pedigree he has a deep and lifelong love of the theatre.
